We provided a submission to the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations' Same Job, Same Pay consultation paper on 12 May 2023.
In this submission, we raised our concern that the burden of calculating the 'same pay' will fall on DSPs and the payroll and workforce management software they develop for employers. We also highlighted a potential complexity for DSPs if payroll or workforce management systems are expected to assist employers with any 'same pay' calculations.
