ABSIA submitted to the Digital Transformation Agency's Digital Identity Legislation consultation on 18 December 2020.
Overall, we broadly supported the Digital ID system being made available to the private sector and its ability to offer efficient and cost effective digital identification verification and log in processes. In this submission, ABSIA responded to two issues surrounding the charging framework and the responsible body which we believed would have the greater impact on our members and the industry.
