Navigating Australia's payroll landscape involves multiple government agencies like the ATO, DEWR, Fair Work Commission, and Fair Work Ombudsman. DSPs providing payroll, HR, and RTA services must continuously update their software to stay compliant.
DSPANZ has been pivotal in payroll initiatives, advocating for sufficient implementation time for Single Touch Payroll (STP) Phases 1 and
2. Currently, DSPANZ works with government bodies on payroll changes, including paid family and domestic violence leave.
The Payroll Working Group addresses changes to employee payment terms and conditions, helping DSPs stay current. It builds
relationships with key government stakeholders and provides a platform for member collaboration.
The working group is open to DSPANZ members only and meets every six weeks. Members can access meeting outcomes, materials and other information here.
