Press release 3 June 2022
On 2 June, DSPANZ signed a strategic cooperation agreement with EESPA.
Both organisations share similar objectives to improve the adoption of business document automation in general and e-invoicing in particular. DSPANZ is the primary association representing e-invoicing providers across Australia and New Zealand, whereas EESPA represents this industry at the European level.
EESPA’s Co-Chairs Bengt Nilsson and Marcus Laube declared: “EESPA is recognized as the voice of the European e-Invoicing industry, but digital trade flows don’t stop at the European borders. We strongly believe in the merits of a global cooperation between Service Providers and this MoU with DSPANZ is an important step into that direction”.
Simon Foster, President of DSPANZ added: “European providers have been an important part of the growth of e-Invoicing in Australia and New Zealand. We are excited to develop a closer relationship with EESPA as we work towards the common goal of global e-invoicing interoperability”.
Through this MoU, both organisations and their respective members will combine their forces and expertise to increase awareness and adoption of e-invoicing world-wide and to promote cooperation in important areas such as interoperability and advocacy.
