Strategy and Planning Day Outcomes 2023

Modern Awards Pay Database API Available March 2023
The new Application Programming Interface (API) for the Fair Work Commission’s Modern awards pay database is being released in the week of 20 March 2023. DSPs interested in using the API from March 2023 can register their interest by sending the Commission a letter of intent.

What's Changed in ISO 27001:2022?
The anticipated update to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 has officially been released following the update to ISO/IEC 27002:2022 earlier this year. This update has seen minor changes to the requirements of the standard with more extensive clarifying changes made to the controls outlined in Annex A. Memorandum of Understanding on Strategic Cooperation Signed with EESPA
On 2 June, DSPANZ signed a strategic cooperation agreement with EESPA. Through this MoU, both organisations and their respective members will combine their forces and expertise to increase awareness and adoption of e-invoicing world-wide and to promote cooperation in important areas such as interoperability and advocacy.
The DCTCE Model
DSPANZ endorses a decentralised approach to electronic tax reporting and invoicing called the Decentralised CTC and Exchange Model (DCTCE). Find out more about the DCTCE Model here.

Planning Day Outcomes 2022
On 28 February the DSPANZ Board and staff met virtually for our 2022 Strategy and Planning Day. During the course of the day we conducted a 2021 review and analysis which provided the foundation to set the organisational goals and priorities for 2022, review the structure of our sub-committees and prioritise policy areas.
2022 Budget Impacts to DSPs
The 2022-23 Budget outlined some significant investments in Australia's Digital Economy Strategy along with other measures that will impact Digital Service Providers (DSPs). Accounting Software to Reduce ABS Survey Reporting Burden
On 16 February 2022, it was announced that the government is investing $20 million over four years for the Australian Bureau of Statistics to develop a new reporting application that will enable businesses to submit surveys from within their accounting software.
