About the Panellists

Simon Foster ABSIA Squirrel StreetSimon Foster, Vice President and Director, ABSIA
Founder and CEO, Squirrel Street
As a technology entrepreneur with experience across Europe, Asia and North America, Simon has garnered more than two decades experience working for early stage and high growth technology startups, mid-size enterprises and multi-nationals.

Working across a number of key roles over the years has allowed Simon to develop a significant understanding of the technology landscape, including specialist knowledge of data security, scanning and secure document storage and the workings of the online/cloud-sphere.

With a keen interest and involvement in the Sydney technology startup community, Simon has also found value in sharing his knowledge through mentoring new technology entrepreneurs via the Founders Institute and PushStart accelerator, and acting as an angel investor. In addition, through the nature of Squirrel Street's service, it has required Simon to build valuable working partnerships (and integrations) with other technology providers in the business management space such as MYOB, Xero, Intuit, Reckon, Saasu and Sage.
