Payday Super Draft Legislation

Payday Super Draft Legislation Released
The draft legislation and explanatory materials for Payday Super have now been released on the Treasury's website. DSPANZ will be working alongside our members to draft a submission and provide industry feedback. We'll be sending out an email to invite for our members to attend a feedback session and provide more information about how to get involved in the DSPANZ submission. Reminder - the consultation closes on Friday 11 April. Learn more here.

    NZ Minimum Wage Increase

    Aotearoa New Zealand Minimum Wages Increasing
    Minimum wages are increasing in Aotearoa New Zealand on 1 April applying to all employees 16 and over. The minimum wages are increasing as follows:

    • Adult minimum wage will go up from $23.25 to $23.50 per hour
    • Starting-out and training minimum wage will go up from $18.52 to $18.80

      ISO 27001

      Reminder to Comply With Updated ISO/IEC 27001
      The ATO is reminding DSPs certified to the ISO/IEC 27001 standard that they must transition to the updated ISO/IEC 27001:2022 by 31 October 2025. If you haven't transitioned already, ensure you set aside enough time to upgrade to the new standard for the next Operational Security Framework Review. If you have any questions, raise a ticket via the ATO's DSP service desk
