Payroll Expressions of Interest
DSPANZ is calling for expressions of interest (EOIs) from Aotearoa New Zealand DSPs who would like to participate in the Digital
Advisory Group (DAG) Payroll Working Group for 2025. Learn more about the DAG Payroll

Minimum
Wages
Increasing
Minimum wages are increasing on 1 April applying to all employees 16 and over. The minimum wages are increasing as follows:
- Adult minimum wage will go up from $23.25 to $23.50 per hour
- Starting-out and training minimum wage will go up from $18.52 to $18.80

Holidays
Act Reform
In a speech to the Employment and Manufacturers Association on 13 December 2024, Minster for Workplace Relations and Safety,
Hon Brooke
van Velden announced a change to the proposed direction of the Holidays Act reform. Minister van Velden has directed officials to begin
work on an hours-based accrual model for annual leave and to consider whether greater simplicity can be achieved. Read more in the press

Tasman Electronic Invoicing Arrangement
The revised Australian and New Zealand Government Electronic Invoicing Arrangement is now available on the Australian Government's
Treasury website. The purpose of this arrangement is to
support the adoption of eInvoicing by maintaining a common approach across both
countries and creating an interoperable single digital economic market across the Tasman. Read
