Use
The ATO has updated their DSP
conditions of use
to outline acceptable language that DSPs can use to promote their software products and services. The updates have been published after
consultation within the ATO and with DSPANZ. Check the updated guidance to ensure you are:
- Using approved
terminology
- Following branding guidelines
- Providing clear messaging

Inquiry
into the Digital Transformation of Workplaces - Future of Work Report
The Inquiry
into the Digital Transformation of Workplaces
published its Future of Work Report in January. This inquiry was launched on 9 April 2024 by the House Standing Committee on
Employment,
Education and Training following a referral from the Minister for Employment and Workplace Relations, the Hon Tony Burke MP. The report
contains 21 recommendations that focus on:
- Maximising benefits of AI and ADM in the workplace
- Addressing specific risks associated with AI and ADM
- Managing high-risk AI systems in workplaces and supporting proposed guardrails
- Clarifying legal obligations on developers and deployers
(employers) of ADM and AI systems as they apply to workplaces
- Enhancing employee protections, especially regarding their data and privacy
- Requiring meaningful consultation, transparency, accountability and procedural fairness regarding the use of AI and ADM

Developing information campaigns to build public trust of these technologies, understanding of the relevant frameworks, and of safe and
responsible use.

- Outlines the ATO’s fraud and corruption control framework
- Articulates the ATO’s approach to managing fraud and corruption risks
- Explains the strategies the ATO uses to train and raise employee awareness.
