NZ Holidays Act Reform

In a speech to the Employment and Manufacturers Association on 13 December, Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety, Hon Brooke van Velden announced a change to the proposed direction of the Holidays Act reform. Minister van Velden has directed officials to begin work on an hours-based accrual model for annual leave and to consider whether greater simplicity can be achieved. Australia-New Zealand Government Electronic Invoicing Arrangement

The Australian Assistant Treasurer and Minister for Financial Services, the Hon Stephen Jones MP, and New Zealand's Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs, the Hon Andrew Bayly, have recently signed a revised Australia-New Zealand Government Electronic Invoicing Arrangement. This arrangement recognises Australia and New Zealand's ongoing collaboration to support eInvoicing adoption. Read more in the press release here

ASD Limited Use Obligation

Australian Signals Directorate Limited Use Obligation

The recent passing of the Intelligence Services and Other Legislation Amendment (Cyber Security) Act 2024 has established a limited use obligation for the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD).
