Consumer Data Right for the Banking Sector

MBIE is currently consulting on the regulations and standards for open banking under the customer and product data bill. The discussion paper is seeking feedback on the following:
  • Scope of designated regulations
  • Accreditation criteria for accredited requestors
  • Appropriate fees and relevant standards
  • Costs, benefits and risks associated with an open banking designation.
