with DSPs. Despite ongoing consultation, we still lack clarity on the technical and operational aspects of the measure and how to integrate
it into payroll and superannuation software.

Digital
ID Submission We
provided a submission to the Department of
Finance’s consultation on the draft Digital ID Rules, Digital ID Accreditation Rules
and Accreditation Data Standards on 25 June 2024. Our submission provided overarching feedback on private sector participation in the
Australian Government Digital ID System (AGDIS) and specific commentary on select rules. Continue

Inland
Revenue Compliance Inland
Revenue recently outlined that they will use the $29 million allocated to the department in this year’s Budget to support its
complaince activities. The Commissioner of Inland Revenue, Peter Mersi, shared that they will target student loans,
the construction
industry, taxation of multinationals and crypto asset transactions. Read

The ATO is holding their annual Services for Tax Practitioners event in Canberra on 4 to 5 September. The event will cover areas of interest

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has published the Draft User Guide for the Global Anti-Base Erosion
(GloBE) Information Return XML Schema. The OECD is calling for comments on the draft document by 19 August 2024. Learn more about

Allowing Small and Medium Businesses Four
Years to Self-Amend Tax Assessments
Treasury is currently consulting on the draft legislative amendments that will implement one part of the 2023-24 Federal Budget package
‘Driving Collaboration with Small Business to Reduce the Time Spent Complying with Tax Obligations’ - allowing
small and medium

Comprehensive Review - Consultation Round 4
The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) is currently undertaking its fourth and final round of public consultation
as part of the
comprehensive review of the Australian and New Zealand Standard Classification of Occupations (ANZSCO). The ABS is seeking feedback on how
stakeholders intend to use the classification and data consumption tools and the proposed changes, draft structure and implementation of the
