We’ve just launched a quarterly newsletter covering important updates for DSPs across Aotearoa New Zealand. Our first edition covered
minimum wage rate changes, the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety’s intention to deliver improvements to the Holidays Act, a
summary of the recommendations from the Finance and Expenditure
Committee’s commentary on the Taxation (Annual Rates for 2023-24,

ATO Operational Security
Framework Updates
The ATO has updated to the
Operational Security Framework which includes making the evidence requirements easier to understand and improving
the language in the Multi-Factor Authentication section. The ATO has also reminded DSPs to set aside enough time to upgrade to ISO
27001:2022 before their next review. Read more about the Operational

Family
and Domestic Violence Leave Factsheet The
Fair Work Commission recently published a plain language factsheet covering recent changes to the general protections under the Fair
Work Act 2009 relating
to family and domestic violence leave. From 15 December 2023, employers cannot take adverse action against an
employee or potential employee
because they have been, or are being, subjected to family and domestic violence leave. Access
