DSPANZ, originally the Australian Business Software Industry Association (ABSIA), was established to provide a collective voice for software developers and digital service providers working closely with the Australian Taxation Office.
Originally an offshoot of the ATO's Software Developers , the initial focus was supporting developers with a range of ATO initiatives
including Standard Business Reporting (SBR), Single Touch Payroll, SuperStream and the co-design of Australian specific e-invoicing
standards with the Digital Business Council.
